Peltz Famous Brand Name Shoes is a Florida-based, family owned shoe store
and has been providing service, savings and selection to their customers since 1957. Their modern 10,000 to 16,500 square foot retail facilities
house over 100,000 pairs of shoes.
The Solution Associates, Inc. (TSA) has helped Peltz expand their business from a single retail store location with a web presence,
to four brick and mortar stores and a thriving Internet business. They have doubled their revenues and increased their net profits over 600%.
TSA has created systems that allow Peltz to attain such growth without additional staff, including an automated Accounts Payable system.
The AP system involves the scanning of invoices when received, which are then displayed via a web page. A data entry clerk enters the data
from the invoices and the system automatically matches the invoices with the inventory receipts system. When a check run is done, the invoices and receivers
are printed together in the same order.
This system and the EDI integration that The Solution Associates developed have saved Peltz thousands of dollars in labor and over-billings from vendors.
