Peltz Famous Brand Name Shoes (Peltz), a family owned shoe store, has been providing service, savings and selection to their customers since 1957. Their modern 10,000 to 16,500 square foot facilities house over 100,000 pairs of shoes. The Solution Associates, Inc. (TSA) has helped Peltz expand their business from a single location with a web presence to now three brick and mortar stores and a thriving web business. TSA has created many systems that have allowed them to have such growth without additional staff including an automated Accounts Payable system. The AP system starts with the scanning of invoices which then are displayed via a web page. A data entry clerk enters the data from the invoices and the system automatically matches the invoices with their inventory receipts system. When a check run is done, the invoices and receivers are printed together in the same order. This system and TSA’s developed EDI integration have saved Peltz thousands of dollars in labor and over-billings from vendors.
